Step 1 : Submit Sizes for your custom made suits or shirts and more

Firstly, you will need to create your account and a size profile by logging into the My Account section.
Here you can submit your complete set of sizes or send in sizes copied from an existing garment that fits well or even use off the rack garments sizes with a few additional basic measurements.
When ordering custom garments online sizes need to be submitted.
Our measurement forms and short video clips and sketches makes the job a lot easier and ensure fitting accuracy of 98% which makes for a better fit than 99.99% of off the rack clothing!
Our patent pending size variables formulae ensure that any error in measurements is quickly identified and communicated to you for reconfirmation.
This is the secret of the 98% success rate we have with the measurements you submit. This is no exaggeration.
If submitting the complete set of measurements is inconvenient, you can also provide us with your off the rack sizes and a few basic measurements and our tailors with a combined 800 years of experience will ensure that you get a much better fit than you would have ever imagined possible.
Additionally you can also email us your front, side and back silhouette photos - which can help us in proportioning the garments.
We can also work with sizes replicated from garments that fit you well. This can be submitted using the easy to follow 'send sizes to copy' function in your account.
If this too is inconvenient, you can easily ship to us your well fitting suit, shirt, skirt, short or Jacket for replication.

Step 2 : Choosing a Fabric and Color for your custom clothes :

Our complete inventory is displayed in five different collections depending on the composition and price of the fabric.
They are the Classics, the Premiums, the Superior/Exclusive, the Deluxe, the Heritage Gold and the Designer Brands Collections.
Here under is a basic outline of how the fabrics in the various collections differ from each other as a class...

Custom Dress Shirts
For our custom made dress shirts, the fabrics in the Classic collections are typically 2 by 2 cottons, pure and blends as well as silk blends.
These are excellent wrinkle resistant easy care fabrics and perfect for every day use.
The Premium and Exclusive Collection are fabrics mostly 2 and 3 ply made from long staple fibers and are richer in feel, look and texture.
These fabrics are mostly Swiss or Egyptian cottons and wrinkle resistant.
Our Deluxe and Heritage gold shirts are made from extra long fiber in broad cloths, poplins and other higher end materials. These fabrics are mostly 3 ply with tighter weaves.
The custom shirts from our Designer Brands are mostly Sea Island 3 ply cotton with a smooth finish. This is the top of the range in shirts.

Bespoke Custom Made Business Suits, Dress Shirts and Coats for Men and Women

The Premiums
The next level up is our Premium collection where the cloths have a nice light weight, are wrinkle resistant, with a higher wool compared to our classic collections.
These have a very light hand and drape well. This is the most value for money collection of cloths for your custom garments that we can find.
The Package offers from this collection are very popular due to the great value for money that is available in our special offers.

The Exclusive Range
The fabrics in our Exclusive/Superior collections are light to medium weight fabrics with 100% wool or minimal synthetic blends of between 5% to 10% .
The fabrics in this collection have a much softer drape and fall. These fabrics are richer in look and feel.
This is our most popular collection with 80% of repeat orders from this collection.
Should budgetary constraints not be an issue, we recommend the more value added Exclusive fabrics for all your custom suit and dress shirt needs for the office or for parties and events.
Again this collection is also popular with the Special offers due to the very reasonable price point for an extremely good quality cloth.

The Deluxe
The Deluxe fabrics are all imported from countries like Italy, France and the U.K. and are all pure wools and cashmeres unless otherwise specified.
As the name of the collection suggests, these are luxurious fabrics with an extremely rich hand.
These materials do not contain any synthetic fibers and have high drape and crease recovery.
If you are looking for an expensive suit at an affordable price, then this is the collection you should order from.
The suits in this collection will definitely give you that luxury feel of a suit that sells for several times more off the rack and at the same will not hurt your pocket at all.

The Heritage Gold
The cloths in our Heritage Gold collection are from top end suppliers and mills from Europe and are some of the most luxurious wool fabrics available in the world.
The fabrics are mostly super 130s and above with a smooth texture, fantastic drape, super soft feel and hand.
These materials are top of the range and if you are open to spending a bit more for a supreme fabric quality then the Heritage collection is the perfect choice
for your made to measure business and formal wear.

The Designer Brands Range
Fabrics in The Designer brands are all branded fabrics such as from Dormuiel, Holland and Sherry, D&G, Reda, Wien Shield, Scabal and others.
These are the most luxurious wool fabrics available in the world. Suits from these materials, custom made in the UK are upwards of GBP 3000 and in the USA are upwards of USD 4000 per custom suit!
This is for the extremely discerning brand conscious wearer! Absolutely nothing beats the cloths in the Designer Brand collections.

Tweeds, Cottons, Chinos, Denims, Twills, Lycra, Linens and silks

We have a huge collection of Tweeds, Linen, twills, cotton chino, cotton dockers fabrics and corduroy as well as denims for sports jackets and casual slacks.
Our Tweeds range from the classical Harris tweed to traditional English and Scottish tweeds.
Our cotton collections includes cotton chinos, docker cottons, cotton twills, oxfords and cotton lycra for casual pants, chinos and shorts.
Silks for mens shirts and womens blouses as well as evening shirts and tops can be found in the classic and the premium collections.

Step 3 : Choose Styles for your suits, shirts, coats - custom made - just for you!
There are some basic principles that, according to the world of custom tailoring, are the primary do's and don'ts that one should be aware of.
Here are some basic outlines to guide you on what will suit you best.

Every Tall Man and Woman should know that -

1 - Lighter colors add width to a narrow frame. 2 - A three or even two button suit works great on a tall man or woman - as long as the suit has relatively high-cut lapels/gorge. 3 - Keep the amount of cuff you show to a minimum. 4 - Ask for a decent amount of break in your trousers, so your long legs don't look too long. 5 - Don't buy suits with oversized, padded shoulders. They swallow you up, making you look frailer, not bigger. 6 - Don't wear extra-slim ties. You need ties with a bit of width so they won't appear to elongate your torso. 7 - Take a pass on those pointy dress shoes - you don't want to make your feet look longer than they are. Opt instead for a slightly rounder toe, to help keep your foot size in check. 8 - Remember, when you are tall, you want your clothes to play down your height - to keep things in proportion. Accessories that cut across your body, such as belts, quarter folded pocket squares and horizontally striped ties, help accomplish this. 9 - For the shirts go with plain, textured or plaid pattern fabrics. Avoid bold stripes, go with subtle stripes.

Every Short Man and Petite Woman should know that -

1 - A pant leg with very little break will help you look taller. 2 - Show some cuffs to lengthen the look of your arms. 3 - A Peak lapel helps elongate your physique. 4 - A lower button stance creates long lines, and that essentially stretches you out. 5 - A belt makes you look shorter. The more pared down you are, the taller you will appear.      So ditch the belt. Going belt-less looks cool, and if your suit fits properly, your pants will stay in place. Or, use suspenders instead. 6 - You don't want to look like you have got weights around your ankles. Wear slender shoes. 7 - Shorter Vertically Challenged gentlemen are best at pulling off bolder patterns. Bold stripes, pinstripes, Glen plaid and Prince of Wales are the classics for shirts and suits. 8 - In order to give a broad look, go with rope shoulders and high armhole.

Every Large Man or Women should know that he/she should -

1 - Wear a pocket square, it brings the focus to your chest, not your gut. 2 - Keep your jacket buttoned unless you are sitting down. 3 - Wear a simple, elegant Plain shirt. Avoid plaids and checks. 4 - You can wear flat front pants, They can be engineered to be comfortable , even without pleats. 5 - Avoid super skinny ties and lapels. Proportion with your torso is the key. 6 - Don't wear a roomy suit. It doesn't make you look slimmer - it makes you look sloppy. 7 - Don't go shirt un-tucked. 8 - Avoid having to choose between strapping your pants above or below your belly; Wear suspenders and float your waist. 9 - Don't wear strong patterns - they will only emphasize your girth. Instead, choose a simple dark suit; a light colored or pencil striped shirt; and a dark tie. 10 - Choose shoes that have a substantial sole. You need something solid to anchor your weight.

Every Athletic built Man should know that -

1 - A solid build doesn't mean your suit should be a size too large. 2 - Two - button jackets sync up with the V-shape of your torso. 3 - Low collar shirts work well with a thicker neck. 4 - Your Jacket will likely need to be taken in at the sides. 5 - Yes, you can wear narrow - cut trousers. It's your chest that needs room, not your ankles. 6 - Don't wear peak lapels. Your chest and shoulders are broad enough - no need to accentuate them. 7 - Don't wear a pocket square. It's not necessary to call more attention to your already proud chest. 8- Athletic Cuts Suits are also called "8 inch drop suits". 9- Athletic Cut Suits are cut trimmer in the sides and the trouser size is smaller so you don't need to buy a larger size to get a right fit.

Waist Management

Where - and how - your upper half meets your lower half can cause more than few challenges. Short torso - long legs? The Solution - stay away from pleated high waisted pants that exaggerate your shorter upper half. Instead, look for suits with flat front trousers that sit lower on your hips, like jeans. Long torso - short legs? The Solution - Avoid low rise pants, no matter how cool they might be. You can never go wrong wearing a suit Jacket with a pair of 501s, which tend to sit a bit higher on the hips. In any case, choose standard or high rise pants for your build. Extra wide hips? The Solution - The easiest thing to do is keep your suit Jacket on - this calls attention to your shoulders, not your broad waist/hips. Look for suit Jackets with side vents which help break up your wide backside.

Dress and Business Shirts for Men and Women -

A shirt is defined by its collar and therefore it requires particular attention while ordering a custom dress shirt.

Tall or Oval Face with long Neck -

1. Full-cut shirts must shows ? inch of shirt cuff.

2. White contrast collars and cuffs break up length.

3. Amply proportioned spread collars.

4. Broadly spaced, fine-lined stripes, tatters all check, windowpanes, and horizontal stripes.

Broad Face and thick Short Neck -

1. Vertical shirt collars or tab collars or collars with long points.

2. Solid, striped, or patterned neckwear.

3. Shirt with strong stripes.

We also offer real "Horn buttons or Mother of Pearl buttons" as added features for your custom suits.
Working sleeve buttons (surgeon's sleeves) and hand stitching on the lapels on Jackets can also be selected from our accessories section with a monogram on your Jackets or dress shirts to give that personalized touch and a signature tailored look.

Next, select the style that you like or the style that is close to your favorite style, from among the various styles displayed inside the selected category.
Clicking on the style you will see a full list of fabrics available for that style and clicking on the fabric name will show you the available colors in that fabric.
Choose the fabric and color and click on the 'Next' button to place the custom item in your shopping cart.
Thereafter, follow the prompts the website presents to add the special custom features you want to see in your garment using the special requests page that comes up during the order placement process.
All the special requests you may have or deviations or changes to the selected style that you would like to see in the finished piece, will then be incorporated into your order.
